Prayer

The Best Wireless Connection in the World

No coverage maps are needed to show where God is able to hear prayer:

Where can I go from Your Spirit? or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.” (Psalm 139:7-10)

The possessor of a voice heard around the world is the possessor of an ear capable of hearing and understanding every language in the world:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.” (Psalm 19:1-3)

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.” (Acts 10:34-35)

So when it comes to praying to God, it’s not a question of can he hear us – the question is, “Does he hear from us?” EA

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:1-2)

Jesus: There’s Something Special About That Name

A while back I read a story about a North Carolina “pastor” who was asked to be the honorary chaplain during a session of his state’s legislature. People being invited to lead prayer for governmental bodies happens all the time, but something else happened that sadly seems to be occurring more and more often – his invitation was vetoed after his prayer was “reviewed” because he refused to leave out the name of Jesus at the end. I would’ve done the same thing, because when it comes to Christianity, the Bible is clear…there’s something special about the name of Jesus!

Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.” (Matthew 18:4-5)

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” (Matthew 19:29)

For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (Mark 9:41)

Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:46-47)

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14)

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31)

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” (Acts 2:21)

Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 19:4-5)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17)

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”” (2 Timothy 2:19)

I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.” (1 John 2:12)

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”” (Matthew 1:21)

Whether people want to hear the name or not, there is authority, promise, rewards, encouragement, boldness, good will, salvation, holiness and so much more found only in the special name of Jesus. EA
